The San Diego County Office of Education (SDCOE) has created a suite of resources designed to help secondary students explore topics through text and talk.  Discussion Cards covering Arts, English Language Arts, Science, History-Social Science, Computer Science, and (coming soon) Mathematics are offered with support teacher’s implementation on the SDCOE website here.

The CGA was pleased to provide input to the Geography Discussion Card, which is available to download in various formats (including multiple languages) here. The Geography Discussion Card is helpful to use when analyzing texts in a Literature class or when approaching topics or texts in a History-Social Science class.
